Japanese market – TELEC certification
For wireless microphones planned for export to the Japanese market, manufacturers must obtain TELEC certification. TELEC certification is a mandatory certification system issued by a specialized agency established by the Japanese government to certify telecommunications equipment. Applicants need to prepare detailed and accurate application materials, including but not limited to product manuals, technical specifications, circuit diagrams, layout diagrams, parts lists, and supplier information, and submit them to the TELEC certification agency for review. Subsequently, the certification body will conduct formal testing on the samples, including electromagnetic compatibility testing, radio performance testing, and safety performance testing.
EU Market – CE-RED Certification
If wireless microphones want to enter the EU market, they need to apply for CE-RED (Radio Equipment Directive) certification. This is an important regulatory requirement for wireless equipment in the European market, aimed at regulating the spectrum usage range and improving its effectiveness. The CE-RED certification process includes consulting certification details, filling out application forms, providing products and their information, testing the products by the certification laboratory, issuing testing reports, and issuing CE certificates.
US market – FCC certification
Wireless microphones sold in the United States also need to comply with FCC (Federal Communications Commission) regulations. The product must comply with relevant regulations and standards established by FCC, such as requirements for radio frequency radiation, frequency range, electromagnetic compatibility, etc. Manufacturers can choose an authorized third-party laboratory to conduct necessary testing and ensure that the product obtains FCC ID certification.
