Glass cup LFGB certification
A glass cup is a cup made of glass, usually high borosilicate glass. As a food contact material, exporting it to Germany requires LFGB certification. How to apply for LFGB certification for glass cups?
01 What is LFGB certification?
LFGB is the German food and beverage regulation, and food, including food related products, must obtain LFGB approval before entering the German market. Food contact material products must pass relevant testing requirements and obtain LFGB test reports for commercialization in Germany.
The LFGB logo is represented by the word 'knife and fork', which means it is related to food. The LFGB knife and fork logo indicates that the product has passed the German LFGB inspection and does not contain any harmful substances to the human body. It can be safely sold in the German and European markets.
