When people buy food, daily necessities, furniture and other products online, they often see the “inspection and test report” presented by the merchant on the product details page. Is such an inspection and test report reliable? The Municipal Market Supervision Bureau said that five methods can be used to identify the authenticity of the report, such as contacting the testing agency to manually query the report information, and checking the consistency of the CMA logo number in the inspection and testing report with the certification number of the inspection and testing agency. Method one
Laboratory qualification marks, such as CMA, CNAS, ilac-MRA, CAL, etc., are generally printed on the top of the cover of the inspection and test report. It should be noted that the inspection and test report that is published to the public must have the CMA mark. The inspection and testing report is printed with the address, email address and contact number of the testing institution. You can contact the testing institution by telephone to manually check the report information
Method Two
Check the consistency between the CMA logo number in the inspection and testing report and the qualification certificate number of the inspection and testing agency.
