Key points for on-site testing of home textiles

Home textile products include bedding or home decoration, such as quilts, pillows, sheets, blankets, curtains, tablecloths, bedspreads, towels, cushions, bathroom textiles, etc.

Generally speaking, there are two main inspection items that are commonly used: product weight inspection and simple assembly testing. Product weight inspection generally needs to be done, especially when there are product quality requirements or product weight information is displayed on the packaging material. Next; assembly testing is generally only for cover products (such as bedspreads, etc.), not all products must be tested. Specifically:

1. Product weight inspection

Number of samples: 3 samples, at least one sample for each style and size;

Inspection requirements:

(1) Weigh the product and record the actual data;

(2) Check according to the weight requirements provided or the weight information and tolerances on the product packaging materials;

(3) If the customer does not provide a tolerance, please refer to the tolerance of (-0, +5%) to determine the result;

(4) Qualified, if all actual weighing results are within the tolerance range;

(5) To be determined, if any actual weighing result exceeds the tolerance;

2. Simple assembly test

Sample size: Check 3 samples for each size (pulling out and loading the corresponding filling once)

Inspection requirements:

(1) Defects are not allowed;

(2) It is not allowed to be too tight or too loose, and the size is appropriate;

(3) There should be no loose or broken stitches at the opening after the test;
