Non stick pan testing standards and methods

Non stick pot refers to a pot that does not stick to the bottom of the pot when cooking. Its main component is iron, and the reason why non stick pots do not stick is because there is a layer of coating called "Teflon" on the bottom of the pot. This substance is a general term for fluorine-containing resins, including compounds such as polytetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroethylene propylene, which have advantages such as high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, and chemical stability. When cooking with a non stick pan, it is not easy to burn, convenient and easy to clean, and has uniform heat conduction and less oil fume during cooking.

Non stick pan detection method:
1. Check the surface quality of the non stick pan coating. The coating surface should have a uniform color, luster, and no exposed substrate.
2. Check if the coating is continuous, i.e. there are no mud like cracks present.
3. Gently peel off the edge coating of the non stick pan with your nails, and there should be no block coating peeling off, indicating good adhesion between the coating and the substrate.
4. Pour a few drops of water into a non stick pan. If the water droplets can flow like beads on a lotus leaf and leave no water marks after flowing, it means it is a real non stick pan. Otherwise, it is a fake non stick pan made of other materials.
