EAEU 037 is Russia’s ROHS regulation, the resolution of October 18, 2016, determines the implementation of “Restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical products and radio electronic products” TR EAEU 037/2016, this technical regulation from March 1, 2020 The official entry into force means that all products involved in this regulation must obtain the EAC conformity certification before entering the market of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Community, and the EAC logo must be correctly affixed.
The purpose of this technical regulation is to protect human life, health and the environment and to prevent misleading consumers regarding the content of oil and sea substances in electronic and radioelectronic products. This Technical Regulation establishes mandatory requirements for the restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and radio-electronic products implemented in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Community.
The scope of products involved in the Russian ROHS certification: – Household electrical equipment; – Electronic computers and devices connected to electronic computers (such as servers, hosts, notebook computers, tablet computers, keyboards, printers, scanners, network cameras, etc.); – Communication Facilities; – Office Equipment; – Power Tools; – Light Sources and Lighting Equipment; – Electronic Musical Instruments; Wires, cables and flexible cords (excluding optical cables) with a voltage not exceeding 500D; – Electric switches, disconnect protection devices; – Fire alarms, security alarms and fire safety alarms.
Russian ROHS regulations do not cover the following products: – medium and high voltage electrical products, radio electronic products; – components of electrical equipment not included in the product list of this technical regulation; – electric toys; – photovoltaic panels; – used on spacecraft Electrical products, radio electronic products; – Electrical equipment used in vehicles; – Batteries and accumulators; – Second-hand electrical products, radio electronic products; – Measuring instruments; – Medical products.
Russian ROHS certificate form: EAEU-TR Declaration of Conformity (037) *The holder of the certificate must be a company or self-employed person registered in a member state of the Eurasian Economic Community.
Russian ROHS certificate validity period: Batch certification: no more than 5 years’ Single batch certification: unlimited
Russian ROHS certification process: – The applicant submits certification materials to the agency; – The agency identifies whether the product meets the requirements of this technical regulation; – The manufacturer ensures production monitoring to ensure that the product meets the requirements of this technical regulation; – Provide test reports or send samples to Russia for authorization Testing in the laboratory; – Issue of a registered declaration of conformity; – EAC marking on the product.
