Gazprom Certification – Introduction to INTERGAZCERT Certification
On November 24, 2016, the Gazpromcert/газпромсерт voluntary certification system was renamed the INTERGAZCERT (интергазсерт) voluntary certification system, which is Gazprom certification.
Gazprom is one of the largest natural gas companies in the world, with a wide range of operations, including agriculture, aviation, natural gas production and processing, oil and gas exploration of equipment and pipelines, oil industry, etc. It is a natural gas giant in the world. If you want to become a supplier of Gazprom, you must first apply for INTERGAZCERT (интергазсерт) voluntary certification. The INTERGAZCERT voluntary certification system is INTERGAZCER Voluntary Certification Systems in English, referred to as INTERGAZCERT VCS. At present, INTERGAZCERT voluntary certification is a prerequisite for companies to join the Amur Gas Processing Plant Project and become a supplier of the project. Gazprom certification is to ensure that products meet the standards of Gazprom. Although it is voluntary, for companies that want to become Russian natural gas projects, passing Gazprom certification can be regarded as a necessary process. The certification covers a large and homogeneous product group, from gas and oil to a wide range of oil and gas machinery, automation facilities and software. Each product group is governed by a specific set of standards, special rules and certification procedures.
