In accordance with Chapter 13 of the Agreement of November 18, 2010 on the Specification of Unification Principles of Technical Regulations of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, the Committee of the Customs Union has decided: – Adoption of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union TP “Safety of Electrical Equipment Working in Explosive Hazardous Atmospheres” TC 012/2011. – This technical regulation of the Customs Union has come into effect on February 15, 2013, and the original certificates of various countries can be used until the end of the validity period, but no later than March 15, 2015. That is, from March 15, 2015, explosion-proof products in Russia and other CIS countries need to apply for explosion-proof certification in accordance with TP TC 012 regulations, which is a compulsory certification. Explosion-proof certification scope
This Technical Regulation of the Customs Union deals with electrical equipment (including components), non-electrical equipment working in potentially explosive atmospheres. Common explosion-proof devices, such as: explosion-proof limit switches, explosion-proof liquid level gauges, flow meters, explosion-proof motors, explosion-proof electromagnetic coils, explosion-proof transmitters, explosion-proof electric pumps, explosion-proof transformers, explosion-proof electric actuators, solenoid valves, explosion-proof instrument tables, Explosion-proof sensors, etc. Excluded from the scope of certification of this directive: – Equipment for daily use: gas stoves, drying cabinets, water heaters, heating boilers, etc.; – Vehicles used at sea and on land; – Nuclear industry products and their supporting products that are not equipped with explosion-proof technical equipment; – personal protective equipment; – medical equipment; – scientific research devices, etc.
Certificate validity period
Single batch certificate: applicable to one order contract, the supply contract signed with the CIS countries shall be provided, and the certificate shall be signed and shipped according to the order quantity agreed in the contract. 1-year, three-year, 5-year certificate: can be exported multiple times within the validity period.
Certification mark
According to the background color of the nameplate, you can choose whether the marking is black or white. The size of the marking depends on the manufacturer’s specifications, and the basic size is not less than 5mm.
The EAC logo is to be stamped on each product and in the technical documentation attached by the manufacturer. If the EAC logo cannot be directly stamped on the product, it can be stamped on the outer packaging and marked in the technical file attached to the product.
