The TP TC 004/2011 directive applies to electrical equipment with a rated voltage of 50V-1000V (including 1000V) for alternating current and from 75V to 1500V (including 1500V) for direct current.
The following equipment is not covered by TP TC 004 Directive
Electrical equipment operating in explosive atmospheres;
medical products;
Elevators and cargo lifts (other than motors);
Electrical equipment for national defense;
controls for pasture fences;
Electrical equipment used in air, water, ground and underground transportation;

The list of regular products that belong to the TP TC 004 certificate of conformity certification is as follows
1. Electrical equipment and appliances for household and daily use.
2. Electronic computers for personal use (personal computers)
3. Low-voltage devices connected to the computer
4. Electric tools (manual machines and portable electric machines)
5. Electronic musical instruments
6. Cables, wires and flexible wires
