TP TC 017 is the regulations of the Russian Federation for light industrial products, also known as TRCU 017. It is the mandatory product certification CU-TR certification regulations for Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other customs union countries. The logo is EAC, also called EAC Certification. December 9, 2011 Resolution No. 876 TP TC 017/2011 “On the safety of light industrial products” The technical regulation of the Customs Union came into force on July 1, 2012. TP TC 017/2011 “On the Safety of Light Industrial Products” Customs Union Technical Regulations is a unified revision of the Russia-Belarus-Kazakhstan Alliance. This regulation stipulates the uniform safety requirements for light industrial products in the customs union country, and the certificate that complies with this technical regulation can be used for the customs clearance, sale and use of the product in the customs union country.
Scope of application of TP TC 017 Certification Directive
- Textile materials; – Sewn and knitted clothing; – Machine-produced coverings such as carpets; – Leather apparel, textile apparel; – Coarse felt, fine felt, and non-woven fabrics; – Shoes; – Furs and fur products; – Leather and leather products; – artificial leather, etc.
TP TC 017 does not apply to product range
- Second-hand products; – Products made according to individual needs; – Personal protection articles and materials – Products for children and adolescents – Protective materials for packaging, woven bags; – Materials and articles for technical use; – Souvenirs – Sports products for athletes – products for making wigs (wigs, fake beards, beards, etc.)
The certificate holder of this directive must be a registered enterprise in Belarus and Kazakhstan. The types of certificates are: CU-TR Declaration of Conformity and CU-TR Certificate of Conformity.
EAC logo size
For light industrial products that have passed the CU-TR Declaration of Conformity or CU-TR Conformity Certification, the outer packaging needs to be marked with the EAC mark. The production rules are as follows:
1. According to the background color of the nameplate, choose whether the marking is black or white (as above);
2. The marking consists of three letters “E”, “A” and “C”. The length and width of the three letters are the same. The marked size of the monogram is also the same (below);
3. The size of the label depends on the manufacturer’s specifications. The basic size is not less than 5mm. The size and color of the label are determined by the size of the nameplate and the color of the nameplate.
